The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) has created an animated video guide and leaflet to help improve understanding of the DBS checking process in England, Wales, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man. The video and leaflet cover: the different types of DBS check, and how to apply; what type of information may be included on DBS certificate; what countries DBS covers; and the DBS Barred Lists
